The Noise Filter
Five things that matter after 40. Fifteen you can stop worrying about.
You've read a hundred opinions. Here's what I tell every client on day one. Read it in five minutes.

The Five
01. Lift something heavy, twice a week.
Muscle is the thing you lose fastest after 40 and the thing that protects everything else: joints, bones, metabolism, balance. Two strength sessions a week, done well, beats five random workouts. This is non-negotiable.
02. Eat more protein than you think you need.
Almost every adult I meet is under-eating protein, especially at breakfast. A palm-sized portion at every meal is the simplest rule that works. Don't overthink the grams.
03. Walk. A lot.
Easy movement, most days, does more for your heart, your weight, and your head than an occasional brutal cardio session. The gym is not where most of your health happens.
04. Sleep like it's part of the program. It is.
Under seven hours and your recovery, appetite, and motivation all fall apart. Fix the bedtime before you fix the supplement cabinet.
05. Keep the range of motion you have.
Hips, shoulders, ankles. Five minutes a day protects them. Losing them is why people stop training in their 50s, not injuries.

One More Thing
If your doctor has you on a GLP-1, testosterone, or anything similar, that's between you and them. My job is to make sure you keep your muscle while you're on it. Nothing here replaces medical advice.
That's the list. Everything else is detail, and detail is what I handle for you.
